From my experience of over 15 years in project and programme management, I always look for the
following skills in any project manager. Below, you can find the 10 commandments:
1. Be persistent
A project manager needs to be persistent and well organized. You need to be able to determine what needs to be done, in which order, to achieve a desired outcome. There are easy projects but many others are complex and hard to complete, therefore you need to be persistent if you want to achieve Project Management success. Don’t forget a bad day, is not a bad life!
2. Be focused
A project manager needs to be focused and have vision. You need to follow the business strategy and guarantee that the fooling project is an important “piece of the puzzle” to achieve…
